This is awful news. Dr. Fay Boozman, Director of the Arkansas Department of Health, has been killed according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. A long-time friend and key advocate of the Governor's Healthy Arkansas initiative, Fay was a wonderful and caring man to those who knew him. There are no further details at this time.
UPDATE: According to KTHV Channel 11 news in Little Rock, Dr. Boozman was killed in an accident while working in his barn on his property in Rogers, AR.
